TDI Technical Diver Training Courses in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, MalaysiaWe are currently offering two distinct TDI courses at present. They are run by our own instructor, Billy Hammond #10704. The first one is TDI Advanced Nitrox Course training you in the use of Nitrox (Enriched Air) up to and including 100% Oxygen as part of an accelerated decompression dive. The second course is the TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Course Unit Specific APD (Ambient Pressure Diving Limited) Inspiration / Evolution using air as a diluent. This is using state of the art electronic, microprocessor control rebreathers.
IANTD Technical Diver Training Courses in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, MalaysiaOur IANTD courses are conducted in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia by Terry Dukes #4728. Terry has dived in many parts of SE Asia during the past 8 years and carried out many technical dives, particularly on oil rigs and deep wrecks. His technical diving experience includes dives in Brunei, Malaysian Borneo, Southern England and the Philippines (where he completed his instructor training with Dave Ross of Tech Asia). He is currently, as of January 2006, an IANTD Normoxic Trimix Instructor.

Wreck Diving in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia - Usukan Bay and Gaya WreckThere are some excellent World War II wrecks at Usukan Bay near Kota Belud, just up the coast from Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia. Three wrecks ranging from 25 to 40 metres in depth. There are also several wrecks around the local marine park (Tunku Rahman Abdul Marine Park - TARP) just of the coast of Sabah, Malaysia near Kota Kinabalu. One of them is known locally as the Gaya Wreck and sits in just over 50 metres of water and is a large wreck with plenty to see.
